Bio

A very unusual upbringing in the mountains of Costa Rica made me a thoughtful, observant and creative person.

I moved to Kentucky when I was 19 to go to college. I pursued a BFA in Graphic Design at Western Kentucky University. After graduating I sold all my belongings and drove my station wagon to Austin,Texas.

I lived and thrived in Austin for 8 years, but after a period of stagnation, I decided it was time to shake things up, take risks and fulfill my life-long dream to live on the beach and become a surfer.

I left my comfortable job and belongings and moved to Tamarindo, Costa Rica. Back to where it all started, to reconnect with the things that mattered the most to me: home, belonging, Spanish, culture and family. This was a period of stillness and soaking, I spent the year learning about myself and recharging.

I’ve always pictured for myself a life full of outdoor activities, so Denver became my most recent home. I continue to grow and explore this new phase of life.

I have several creative interests that I pursue regularly.  I’ve been talking improv comedy classes for the past year and have begun performing. I’m often found with at least 3 cameras around my neck. I have recently been very interested in experimental film photography, some of my work can be found on Instagram. I still enjoy getting my hands dirty and producing analog art from time to time; my fine art can be viewed at www.collidingcolor.com
